The Department of Mathematics is dedicated to igniting a passion for mathematics by fostering appreciation and creativity in the subject. Our aim is to instill joy and pleasure in learning through the fascinating world of mathematical concepts and problems. By making mathematics engaging and enjoyable, we strive to inspire students to explore its wonders and develop a lifelong appreciation for the discipline.

- Prerana Bhoi secure 8th Rank in the University Examination.
- Mantu Bhue and Sashibushan Bhoi got selected in SSB Lectureship in 2024.
- Sourav Sahu got selected in TGT and Rashmita Sahu got selected in PGT Mathematics in 2024.
- Alisha Rani Sahu qualified IIT JAM 2024, and selected in MSc programme in IIT Madras.
- Lochan Dewangan qualified IIT JAM 2024 and selected in MSc Programme in NIT Rourkela.
- Milan Barik Perusing his PhD at NIT Rourkela.
- Rohit Kumar Patel of 4th semester attended Summer Internship MTTS 2024 held at Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur
- Nikita Padhan, Lochan Dewangan, Bedanta Kumar Sahu attended Summer Internship ATM School 2024 held NISER, Bhubaneswar.
- Department has organized a two days National Workshop ‘’MTTS OVERTURE’’ in October 2023.
