It is my privilege to be part of the august institution, established long fifty years back. It’s very existence reverberates the rich cultural legacy of the place. It was conceptualized by the academicians and activists in the civil society of Sambalpur to spread the light of education.

Guided by the principle “sāvidyāyāvimuktaye” (True Knowledge Liberates), our vision is to focus on the value of true knowledge as a means to attain freedom and liberation from ignorance, prejudice and limitations and to be a beacon of enlightenment and empowerment for marginalized communities in our lush green rural setting. We aspire to cultivate an inclusive and innovative educational environment,along with modern technological advancements and traditional values that positively impact education, which not only imparts academic excellence but also fosters critical thinking, ethical values, and a sense of social responsibility.
