About Department
The Department of Botany was established in 1970-71. It features a well-maintained laboratory equipped with modern tools, a small museum housing a collection of various botanical specimens, and a library cum book bank with numerous reference books to cater to the needs of students. The department organizes seminars periodically to disseminate knowledge among students and staff. Additionally, it maintains a botanical garden within the college premises, focused on the preservation of plants and providing a dedicated space for student study.
